Broadcast to one specific customer

Find out how to create a message banner above one specific customer's order guide.

Overview

Cut+Dry lets you add a banner with a special message at the top of a single customer's ordering page, from the customer's Boost screen.

Example

Customer view on the Cut+Dry mobile app:

  • Pink broadcast: This is a broadcast set up for multiple customers; for more information, refer to Broadcast to multiple customers.
  • Purple broadcast: This is a broadcast only to one specific customer.

Tip: A customer can only have one of each type of broadcast active at one time.

 
 

Follow these steps to set up a customer-specific broadcast.


Find a customer's Boost tab

  1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
  2. Select the customer you want to broadcast to.
    Tip: If you have many customers, consider using the Search field to find it.
     
  3. Select the Boost tab.
  4. Continue to either:

Add or edit an ongoing single-customer broadcast

  1. On the Boost tab, select Edit Message.

    Tip: If there is currently a live customer-specific broadcast, there will already be text in this box.

     
  1. Enter or change the message you want broadcast into the Customer-specific Broadcast text box, then Save Message.

Result

When this customer logs in to your ordering page, they will see this message banner across the top of their screen.

 

Delete a single-customer broadcast

  1. On the Boost tab, select Clear Message.

Result

A popup will indicate the message was cleared; your customer will no longer see this message banner over their order guide. 

Please note that the text box on this screen only shows customer-specific broadcasts, not broadcasts sent to this customer as part of a group broadcast. For information on managing group broadcasts, refer to Broadcast to multiple customers.
