Check a customer user's invite status

Find out how to doublecheck an invited customer's account status with Cut+Dry.

Overview

When you invite a customer to use Cut+Dry, we send an email and/or text message to them, asking them to sign up with you.

After that invite is sent, you can:

Tip: If the same user is involved with multiple restauraunts or customer accounts, they do NOT need to be invited more than once. Simply follow the steps to Add a user to a customer account, adding that person to each customer account, using the exact same contact details.
 

Follow these steps to check status of your customer's Cut+Dry account.


Check a customer's invite status

  1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
  2. Find and select your customer.
    Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.
     
  1. Check the Status column for status:
    • Invited: The invite was sent but your customer not yet signed up for the Cut+Dry app with the email/phone number you added for them.
    • Signed up: The customer has activated their Cut+Dry account and is connected with you, but they have not submitted any orders.
    • Ordered: The customer is actively connected and has submitted an order in the app.

Result

If a customer has not yet signed up, it's possible that their contact information was incorrect. You can also always resend a customer invite, too. Both tasks are accomplished on the same screen!

 

Resend a customer invite

  1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
  2. Find and select your customer.
    Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.
     
  1. Under Users, select the pencil icon by the primary contact's name.
  2. In the Edit User popup, verify the customer's' email address and/or mobile phone number.

    Tip: Either an email address or phone number is required in order for the customer to receive the invite.

     
  1. Select either Resend invite via text or Resend invite via email.
    Tip: If an email or phone number is not entered, the corresponding resend button will be grayed out.
