Find out how to edit a product information inside of Cut+Dry
Overview
Keep your product information current and accurate by editing product data directly in the manufacturer portal. You can update product descriptions, nutritional information, images, specifications, and other key details that distributors and operators see in their catalogs. Maintaining up-to-date product data ensures your items are presented correctly across all Cut+Dry networks and helps drive sales through accurate, compelling product information.
Follow these steps to edit your product data.
Edit a product
1. Select Products from the navigation menu.

2. Locate your product and click Edit Product.

3. Select a content section, then fill out the information.
Tip: pay attention to your completeness score.

Completeness Score
Our completeness score measures how much information is available for a product and how well it meets category requirements. Aim for scores above 70%, focusing on critical information and visual content (videos and images) to maximize visibility and impact.

4. Click Save.

Link the product to a brand
1. Open the product editor as described above.

2. Select Critical Information.

3. Locate the field Brand Name and select the correct brand.
Tip: you need to add the brand before seeing it in this dropdown.

Clean your online catalog
Currently, the Manufacturer Portal doesn’t offer a way to directly archive, delete, or mark products as discontinued. The best way to clean up and correct your catalog is to:
1. Seed your catalog with accurate product information.
2. Add your GDSN information, if applicable.
3. Review your product catalog for completeness and to make sure no obsolete SKUs are present.
