How to Manage Team Members

Learn how to get your entire team on Cut+Dry.

Get the whole team on Cut+Dry to ensure everyone can access the information and save you time.

How to Add a Team Member

You can add team members by clicking on 'Add User'. You can add as many people as you want - Cut+Dry is FREE for restaurants, and there are no fees associated with the number of team members on the platform.

  1. Open the 'Team' section - you can find it under 'Settings'

  2. Click on 'Add User' located at the top right

  3. Enter their name, contact information, role, and location.

🔥Tip: you need to add your different locations before you can assign a team member to it - click here to learn how. When you click on the 'Location', you'll see a dropdown with all your available locations - if no location is selected, the user will be assigned to all locations.

4. Click on 'Add User' to complete the process. Cut+Dry will send an invitation for you, letting the user know they have been added to your account.


Team Roles

There are four team roles available on Cut+Dry. This ensures each user has access to the information they need and nothing else. Select the best option from the 'Role' dropdown to assign a team role.

  1. Admin

    • Has access to everything.

  2. Manager

    • Has access to everything except restaurant settings

    • Can add employees, but not managers or admins

    • Can be restricted to specific locations

  3. Employee

    • Only has access to order guides and ordering

    • Can be restricted to specific locations

  4. Bookkeeper

    • Can view and pay invoices

    • Has access to reports

    • Has access to ordering

    • Can be restricted to specific locations


How to Edit a Team Member

  1. Open the 'Team' section - you can find it under 'Settings'

  2. Select the team member by clicking on their name

  3. Make the changes to their name, contact info, role, and locations.

🔥Tip: when editing a contact, you can add their phone number.

4. Click on 'Save Changes' to complete the process.


How to Remove a Team Member

  1. Open the 'Team' section - you can find it under 'Settings'

  2. Select the team member by clicking on their name

  3. Click on 'Remove User'

  4. Click on 'Yes' when asked for confirmation.
