Overview

Cut+Dry Pulse provides a quick overview of how your products are performing across the Cut+Dry distributor network. This dashboard shows real-time sales data, active product listings, and customer engagement to help you understand your brand's reach and impact. As you enrich your company, brands, and products, Pulse helps identify more of your items across the network to improve these metrics.

Only you have access to the data in Pulse! Our goal is to help manufacturers like you see real-time insights about product performance without waiting months for reports (or simply never getting it)


Dashboard vs. How to Read This Dashboard

Your Pulse section includes two tabs:

  • Dashboard: Shows your current performance metrics with visual charts and key numbers.
  • How to Read This Dashboard: Contains a comprehensive metric guide explaining terminology and what each number represents.

Dashboard sections explained

Your Pulse dashboard is organized into four main sections, each providing different insights into your brand's performance: 

Overview

The Overview section provides your most important performance metrics at a glance:

  • Total metrics show your all-time performance across the Cut+Dry network:
    • Sales ($ Total): All-time revenue generated through Cut+Dry
    • Quantity Sold (Total): Total units sold across all distributors
    • Active Slots (L6M): Unique distributor SKUs that sold in the last 6 months
  • Monthly metrics track recent performance with month-over-month trends:
    • Sales ($ Monthly): Current month revenue with percentage change
    • Quantity Sold (Monthly): Units sold this month compared to last month
    • Active Slots (Monthly): Product listings with recent sales activity

New to Brand Customers from Cut+Dry Influence

This section tracks customer acquisition and expansion:

  • New Quantity Sold (Total): Units ordered by first-time customers in the past 6 months—showing how Cut+Dry helps you reach new operators.
  • New to Product Customers (Total): Existing customers who tried a new product from your portfolio, indicating successful cross-selling within your brand.
  • Monthly versions of both metrics show recent acquisition trends with month-over-month changes.

A Deeper Dive

This section provides detailed breakdowns of your performance:

  • Top-100 Sales by Brand: Lists your best-performing brand names ranked by sales volume.
  • Total Products Sold by Distributor: Bar chart showing which distributors are moving the most of your products, with percentage breakdowns.
  • Active Customers by Distributor (L6M): Shows which distributors have the most operators purchasing your products.
  • Top Selling Products by Number: Your highest-volume individual products with sales percentages.

QoQ Change

Quarterly comparison metrics help you understand longer-term trends:

  • Active Customers: Quarter-over-quarter customer count with percentage change 
  • Quarterly Active Distributors: Number of distributors selling your products this quarter vs. last quarter 
  • Quarterly Active Slots: Product listings generating sales, compared quarterly

Use your data to improve performance

Use Overview for daily monitoring, New to Brand for growth insights, A Deeper Dive for strategic decisions, and QoQ Change for quarterly business reviews.

  • Monitor trends: Use the monthly charts to identify seasonal patterns and growth opportunities.
  • Track distributor expansion: Watch your Active Cut+Dry Distributors metric to see network growth.
  • Optimize product listings: Higher Active Slots numbers indicate better product discoverability.
  • Focus on customer retention: Active Customers metrics show your operator reach and loyalty.

Tip: As you add more product data to your Portal, we get better at identifying where and how your products move—giving you actionable insights in real time, not months later!
