Create an order guide
Find out how to collect the items you frequently order into one place, by adding them from the Catalog.

Overview
An order guide is a saved list of items used to simplify your ordering process. You can add items individually by searching the catalog.
- You can have as many guides as you wish to create, such as for special menus or events.
- If you wish to instead add or edit items in bulk by collecting Catalog information into a spreadsheet, refer to Upload an order guide.
- You may want to add a requirement for Admin approval for orders from an order guide. After creating an order guide, refer to Activate Admin approval for orders.
Note: Screenshots shown were taken from the mobile app. However, all information in this article is applicable regardless of how you access the app: via mobile phone, tablet, or the desktop web portal.
Create an order guide
- From the main navigation menu, select Order.
- On the Place Order screen, select the +Create button.
- Name your order guide (for your own internal use), then Submit.
Result
The Location/Guide dropdown menu shows the name of your new "Weekends" guide as the active order guide.

- To add items individually to your order guide, select Add from catalog.
Tip: You may instead want to add items in bulk by uploading a spreadsheet. For more information, refer to Upload an order guide.
- Add or remove items by selecting the heart icon on the item. You can find items by either:
- Using the search function
- Selecting an item Section or Category, then browsing
- Once finished, select Close Editor.
Tip: Closing the editor saves your order guide in its current state.
Result
Your "Weekends" order guide is now populated with the two menu items you added.
Tip: To edit this guide at any time, simply select the Edit button on the Place Order screen, then follow the same process (outlined above) for adding and removing items.
