Manage order cc alerts

Find out how to control who receives copies of order confirmation emails.

 Overview

By default, order-related emails are only sent to the person who initiated the order. Any of your Admin users can add additional people to be automatically CC'd on these emails.

 Tip: Please be aware that the CC Emails field overrides any personal notification settings—a user can NOT turn these off within their own profile.

 

Note: Screenshots shown were taken from the mobile app. However, all information in this article is applicable regardless of how you access the app: via mobile phone, tablet, or the desktop web portal.

 

When either you or your sales rep can update CC settings, and the changes are automatically reflected across both systems, maintaining consistency and avoiding conflicts.

Follow these steps to manage order CC alerts.


Configure order cc alerts for the business

1. Select Settings in the navigation bar, then Business.

2. Navigate to the Order CC Email Alerts section in the company settings.

3. Add the email addresses of those who should be copied on the emails. 

Tip: separate multiple email address with a comma. 

 

5. Select which alerts they should receive.  

There are three types of order-related status emails you can add people to:

  • New order: Sent every time one of your team members submits an order
  • Order viewed by the vendor: Sent every time a supplier opens your restaurant's order
  • Order confirmed by the vendor: Sent every time a supplier confirms your restaurant's order

6. Click Save.

 

Result

When a new order is placed, for any location, an email confirmation will be sent to the user who placed the order and to the email addresses listed in the setting.

1. Select Settings in the navigation bar, then Locations.

2. Select a location.

2. Navigate to the Order CC Email Alerts section in the location settings.

3. Add the email addresses of those who should be copied on the emails. 

Tip: separate multiple email address with a comma. 

 

6. Click Save Changes.
