Manage standing orders

Find out how to set up a recurring order for a customer.

Overview

Cut+Dry allows you to create recurring orders for customers on a weekly or biweekly schedule. Customers can still place additional, separate orders alongside any standing orders in the system.

Follow these steps to manage a customer's standing orders.


Creating a standing order

  1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.
  2. Find and select your customer.

     Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.

     
  3. On the Orders tab, select the Create link. 
  4. Choose the delivery day(s) and order frequency from the dropdown menus.

    Tip: Delivery frequency can be set to either weekly or every other week.

     
     
  5. Add items to the customer order as normal, using an order guide and/or the catalog.

    Tip: For more detailed instructions on adding items, refer to the Add items to a customer order section of Place a customer order.

     
  6. Select the Cart icon to review the order.
  7. Once confirmed, select Set Standing Order to save.
     

Change a standing order

  1. At the top of a customer's Order tab, select Edit next to the standing order you want to change.
  2. Adjust items and quantities as needed, then select the Cart icon to review the order.
  3. Once confirmed, select Set Standing Order to save.
     

Pause a standing order

At the top of a customer's Order tab, select Pause next to the standing order you want to temporarily stop.

Delete a standing order

  1. At the top of a customer's Order tab, select Delete next to the standing order you want to temporarily stop.
  2. Confirm by selecting Yes in the popup.
