Overview
ETran is FTNI's online payment processing system, while Pay is Cut+Dry the payment-related portion of the Cut+Dry app. It is possible to transition your existing FTNI service into Cut+Dry functionality.
Tip: Our future plan is to fully integrate ETran functionality into Cut+Dry so there will be a single location for all your payment needs. This is not yet implemented—please look forward to it!

FAQ for current FTNI distributors
What if I am already established with FTNI's ETran online payment system?
- You will be able to continue to use the Etran application, but please be aware of the potential overlap in functionality.
- If you continue to use ETran, you will be billed by FTNI according to your contract with them.
- If you use your credit card through Etran as well as Cut+Dry, you will incur the credit card charge functionality charges for both.
- If you add payment methods to Etran or Cut+Dry will only be in the system you add it to--the systems do not share your payment methods.
- If you set up customer autopay in ETran, this will not be visible in Cut+Dry (and vice versa).
Can I use FTNI's mobile check deposit functionality in Cut+Dry?
- This functionality is actively being developed! Once complete, we will be implementing this functionality at no additional cost (outside of existing invoice fees).
- If you are using mobile check deposit within ETran, you can continue to use ETran for this until it's available in Cut+Dry.
How does transition to Cut+Dry Pay from ETran affect my billing?
- If you transition fully to Cut+Dry Pay and stop using ETran, all billing for payment services will go through Cut+Dry.
- If you continue to use ETran while using Cut+Dry Pay, you will be billed by both of us in accordance with each contract.
