Add new supplier(s)
Find out how to connect your restaurant location(s) to one or more of your suppliers.

Overview
Adding a supplier can look different in the Cut+Dry app depending on whether or not they are an integrated supplier. An integrated supplier is a company that has connected their system with Cut+Dry to make setting up your order guides easier for you. (You can still add any supplier to your account, though. )
Tip: If you are trying to re-add a supplier that you had previously removed, refer to Re-add a deleted supplier (Web portal only). Please note that re-adding cannot be performed on the mobile app.
Note: Screenshots shown were taken from the mobile app. However, all information in this article is applicable regardless of how you access the app: via mobile phone, tablet, or the desktop web portal.
Follow these steps to add a supplier to your account.
Prerequisites
Here is what you will need before you can add a supplier:

Your Cut+Dry account
- Download the mobile app from your mobile app store, OR
- Log in to the Cut+Dry web portal

Your ordering credentials for your supplier
- Have your website login information, if you typically order over the web, OR
- Have your sales rep's email, phone, or fax

Your customer code (for each of your locations), if your supplier is an integrated supplier
Tip: If you do not know your website login credentials or integrated customer code, reach out to your sales representative at the supplier.
Add new supplier(s)
- Select Place Order/Order from the navigation menu.
- On the Place Order screen, select either of the +Supplier buttons.
- On the Add Your Suppliers screen, fill in the name(s) of your suppliers and select Continue.
Tip: Select the Add More button if you have more than four suppliers to add.
Result
The Edit Supplier screen will now show you options for how you can send orders with that supplier. The options shown will be different depending on whether or not the supplier is integrated and has set up their supplier account directly with Cut+Dry.
Continue to the section that is applicable to your view:
- Connect via direct integration - If you have received a code from your integrated supplier
- Connect via website - If you normally log onto a website to order from your supplier
- Connect via email, phone, or fax - If your supplier is not set up with Cut+Dry; we can contact your sales representative on your behalf
Exception
Some National Broadline Suppliers have a unique integration with Cut+Dry. Instead of seeing the Edit Supplier screen, you will instead be directed to enter your account credentials with them. With this info, they will automatically create an order guide for you based on your order history with them.
Tip: You cannot use the Chat with your sales representative Chat features with National Broadline Suppliers.
Connect via direct integration
- Select the Direct Integration (Preferred) checkbox.
- Fill in the Customer Code you received from your supplier, then Save.
Tip: If you have multiple locations, each location should have a different Customer Code.
Result
Your supplier is now added to your Cut+Dry account. With an integrated supplier, your first order guide will be automatically generated from your purchase history with them.
Connect via website
- Select the Supplier Website checkbox.
- Enter your login credentials for the supplier's website.
- Select the Location(s) where you use that supplier from the dropdown menu.Tip: If you have different locations with different login credentials, select the +Add another account link.
- Consider selecting either the Email or Text Message checkboxes to add your sales representative's contact information, then Save.
Tip: Adding one of these will allow you to Chat with your sales representative directly through the app.
Result
Your supplier is now added to your Cut+Dry account. Next, you will have to create your first order guide. For more information, refer to Create or edit an order guide.
Connect via email, phone, or fax
- Select the applicable Email, Phone, or Fax checkbox, according to how you normally order from this supplier.
- Type in your sales representative's contact information.
- Choose the Location(s) where you use that supplier sales rep from the dropdown menu.
Tip: If you have multiple locations that use different sales representatives from the same supplier, select the +Add another link to add additional contacts for those locations.
- If you chose Fax, consider also selecting either the Email or Text Message checkboxes to add your sales representative's contact information, then Save.
Tip: If approved by the representative, you may be able to Chat with your sales representative directly through the app.
Result
Your supplier is now added to your Cut+Dry account. Next, you will have to create your first order guide. For more information, refer to Create or edit an order guide.
