Overview

Set PAR values in your customer order guides to help with reordering and reduce guesswork. PAR values provide a static reference for how much of an item should be kept on hand.

Tip: PARs show up as a reference-only value. There's no automation or logic behind - they are not pre-filled or auto-calculated.

Follow these steps to set a PAR value in a customer order guide.

Set a PAR value

  1. Select Customers from the navigation menu.

2. Find your customer, then select the Order Guide button on their row.

Tip: You can search by Salesperson, use the customer filters, or start typing into the search box.

3. Click More Options, then Edit Order Guide Items.

4. Locate the PAR column and enter a numeric value.

5. Click on the Green Checkmark, then Close Editor.

Tip: When placing an order, compare on-hand quantity to the PAR. Then, manually enter what's needed to reach the total. For example, if the PAR is 10 and the customer has 4, you need to order 6.
