Onboarding training schedule for Distributors

Find out about the framework of support we'll provide to you when onboarding to the Cut+Dry platform.

Overview

Onboarding your team, your customers, and business onto a new platform involves multiple steps and affects different audiences. That's why the training team at Cut+Dry is here to help guide and inform you at each one of those steps.

Explore these sections to understand the steps we'll take with you during onboarding.


Cut+Dry standard product demo

After your Kick-off Call, you and your implementation team must read or watch the following product demo information on your own time, before your first team logic call, to get everyone on the same page.

Pay configuration introduction 

After your Kick-off Call, we'll want to show you how ACH and credit card processing functions work with the app and cover the steps for Pay rollout.

  • Your team members: The heads of Accounts Receivable, Finance, or anyone else on your team involved in billing processes

Catalog management training

Once your ERP catalog data has been synced with Cut+Dry, we'll want to show you how catalog features work with your ERP, then provide you with some best practices.

Boost marketing features training

Once your ERP catalog data has been synced with Cut+Dry, we'll want to show you how our Boost features to drive customer engagement with your catalog.

Internal orders training

After end-to-end testing of app integration is complete, we'll want to show you and your team how internal ordering works, and to test the system with us before your initial launch.

Pre-portal training meeting 

After end-to-end testing of app integration is complete, we'll want to align on what's important to highlight to your sales team, and show you future features still in development.

  • Your team members: Developers who worked on the logic/integration (mandatory), Sales managers or heads, and project leads

Portal training 

Once we've set a schedule for the initial soft launch of the app for your company, we'll want to review all the day-to-day functions of the app portal with your entire team, to prepare you for the Cut+Dry live launch.

Second portal training meeting (Q&A)

Once your soft launch has completed (and before general rollout to all of your customers), we'll want to provide you an optional opportunity to ask questions and bring up issues found during the soft launch.

  • Your team members: Anyone on your team who participated in the soft launch

Pay usage training

Once invoices have been synced and tested by us on our end and you're all ready to launch, we'll want to reconnect with you on the Pay setup process and best practices for managing customer payments. (This training largely mirrors the Pay configuration introduction meeting, but with us offering support while your team is now putting the knowledge to action.
